Other books by this author which I have reviewed include Devil at Midnight, Heat of the Night, Beyond the Dark, Three to Tango, Hidden Talents, Hidden Crimes, Winter's Tale, Hot Blooded, Beck & Call

A sad story of childhood trauma affecting the adult along with the conflict of cultures: man’s view of woman, Japanese culture versus American, and, the need for the child to please a parent.

The sexual theme is one of a subtle submission dominating throughout winding around manipulation, the culture of the geisha, forbidden theatrics, gay love, and the emotional art of stripping with voyeurism rampant throughout.
