Good, sweet romance in Palm Beach between an undercover cop and her partner’s target. Sloan’s 30-year-estranged father’s brush with death goads him into inviting Sloan to come to Palm Beach to meet her sister and the rest of the family.

Totally opposed to having anything to do with her biological father, Paul Richardson, an FBI agent with an agenda, talks her into helping him with an undercover operation investigating her wealthy banker father.

McNaught was charming with engaging characters in Night Whispers. The theme of the Second Opportunities series is simply that, second chances.
