First in the Outcast Season spin-off from Caine’s Weather Warden series and focusing on Cassiel, a djinn exiled from her kind.

My Take

Oh lord! The name of the series and the title are so appropriate! This is a continuation of the Weather Warden series although Joanne Baldwin and David don’t have a starring role here.

In this one, Cassiel is one of the Old Djinn and gets cast out of the djinn for not doing something for Ashan…well, c”mon, who would. Cassiel copes with learning to be human and discovering the emotions that drive humans as she ducks trucks, swims underground, and generally wreaks havoc upon those who oppose her.

I can’t wait to get started on Unknown, 2!
