Linda Grimes has a great post, “Author Linda Grimes on Triangles and Bromances and Hormones, Oh My! (A Scientific Excuse)” over at Heroes and Heartbreakers [link is no longer functioning], on why women can’t seem to make up their minds from one day to the next as to the type of guy they want.
Even better is a comment she makes later in the post when her husband asked her
“why women like bromances (he figured—understandably, I suppose—regular romances would have more appeal), I just raised my eyebrows and asked him why so many straight men enjoy watching lesbians together.
“Duh,” he answered. “More women.”
“Exactly,” I said. “Same principle applies.”
Well, how can you argue with that!
