I know my subscribers will be shocked…that “500 Word Confusions” freebie I’ve been promising for so long is actually in the making. It seems I was a bit ambitious in planning on 500 of ’em. I always was math-challenged, sigh…
Anyways, The 500: An Assemblage of Word Confusions is in the works and divided up into such chapters as “Popular Confusions”, “One-Letter Confusions”, “-Ings and -Eds”, “Gender Issues”, “Abbreviations”, “Exclamations”, “Combined Forms” with a sampling of “Compound Words” — which segued into “Two Words or One?”, “lowercase vs UPPERcase”, and “Contractions”.
As I worked up the word confusions for the book, I realized that the alls and anys seemed to outweigh the everys, so it’s catching up time.
