New York City. Subway. Two a.m. Of Jack Reacher’s fellow passengers…4 are OK. The 5th isn’t. No cop will ever forget the 12 things to look for in a suicide bomber.
A blend of historical detail, fast-paced action, scientific discovery, and the thrill of exploration that informs as well as entertains. The breathtaking ending in the high Arctic is as chilling as a polar breeze.
No one tells Reacher where he can and cannot go. Nor does anyone get between Reacher and his conscience. Something has to give, and Reacher never gives an inch.
A conspiracy is killing old friends…and Jack Reacher is caught by a unique code sent by Frances Neagley. Never target his team or they’d better be ready for what hits back.
On the trail of a vicious kidnapper, Reacher is learning the chilling secrets of his employer’s past…and of a horrific drama in the heart of a nasty little war.

My Take Nice set-up. Pretty long set-up, too. There wasn’t a depth of tension or drama in this. Mostly, I read on to discover what would happen next. How would Jake solve this? Who gets caught? Gilleo set up a number of subplots within that kept things interesting with some unexpected twists along the way. On the whole, I liked his characters. Yeah, even Peter Winthrop. At least Peter was honest about himself and I can appreciate that. Senator Day and the Changs…well, ya gotta have a few bad guys so you have someone to hiss at. Every time I started to feel sorry […]
Six shots. Five dead. A city drowning in terror. But the cops have it solved: a slam-dunk. Except for one thing. The accused says: “You got the wrong guy. Get Reacher.”
A two-star general is dead and his briefcase is missing. And Jack Reacher will be the fall guy, if he can’t untangle this chilling and treacherous conspiracy.
Reacher infiltrates a crime lord’s waterfront fortress to rescue a DEA agent — and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.
