The first story reads like the first half of a story — hence the “4”. My Take This was a unique take: a woman who wants to make it in the restaurant business, but as a realizer of dreams. It’s cooking. It’s advertising. It’s business. All rolled into one story. It’s incredible how much story Day packs into 99 pages. But it’s irritating how she leaves us at the end of those 99 pages.
