Reblog: C.S. Lakin talks about the post-book blahs

C.S. Lakin sent out an interesting post yesterday on suggestions for writers to survive coming up to or completing their book. Dealing with that confusing combination of euphoria and dread, excitement and fear. All the joy of creating the book whether it’s fiction or non versus the agony of waiting for your audience to rise up in rapture…hey, we all fantasize! I think what Lakin has to say is something we all need to pop into our little book of mantras, find that short phrase to post on your bathroom mirror, keep it in mind for those “moments” of despair.
