Fourth in the Sweet erotic romance series revolving around the a small group of men friends in Houston. The couple focus is on Micah Hudson and Angelina Moyano.
My Take
There’s a lot of soul searching in this one. Micah attracted to Angelina, but unable to remember her as anything but David’s 16-year-old sister. Angelina can’t stop thinking about how much she loves him…and then she gets that wake up call when she realizes her stalker is doing the same thing to her. Believing that his love will be enough to make her love him.
Sexually…whoa…Micah is brutal and brutally shares her with different groups of guys, two and three others at times. I don’t think he even knows if he’s trying to scare her off or make her happy.
The Story
Angelina has loved Micah for so long. Loved him enough to learn how to wield a whip. Use it on Micah on his annual visit to Miami. Now her stalker has forced her to run, and it just makes sense to Angelina to run to Houston.
Only she didn’t really expect to run into him when she was bare-assed-naked at The House being whipped. Now Micah needs to find her. Protect her. She’s David’s sister, dammit.
But then the note slipped under her door sends Angelina running to the boys for help, and they learn about the stalker who has pursued Angelina across state lines. That he’s found her in Houston.
The Characters
Angelina Moyano is the sister of David. The same David with whom Micah shared Hannah. Their deaths destroyed Micah while Angelina simply picked up and carried on. Carried on with school, finding a job, loving Micah.
Micah Hudson has never recovered from losing Hannah and David. Once a year he returns to Miami and visits their graves, mourning their loss, yet never remembering that his third left a younger sister behind. The men he shares Angelina with are Cole, Chris, and Rick.
Damon Roche owns The House, a safe place with carefully-chosen members who can indulge in their desire for bondage, discipline, submission, and any type of sex they want. He’s married to Serena (see Sweet Persuasion) and is very protective of its members. Cole seems to spend most of his time in The House either prepping women or flogging them.
Faith and Gray Montgomery are married now and still working for Pop (see Sweet Surrender). Nathan Tucker is still with Julie (Sweet Seduction). Connor Malone (his turn is coming — no pun intended). They all work with Micah for Pop at Malone and Sons, a security firm. And none of them are taking Angelina for granted. They’ll help her achieve her goal.
Officer Daniels interviews Angelina after someone slips her a date rape drug in her club soda. Chad Devereaux is the only Miami police officer who took Angelina’s stalker seriously. The rest ignored the sister of the man they thought was cheating on Micah.
The Cover and Title
The cover has a deep background the better to showcase the large-breasted woman in the gorgeous champagne lace bra and panties.
Half of the title refers to the series while the other half is how Micah feels about Angelina, Sweet Temptation.
