Word Confusion: Warrantee versus Warranty

Posted May 28, 2019 by kddidit in Author Resources, Self-Editing, Word Confusions, Writing

No, a warrantee is not a spelling variant of warranty, no matter how many dictionaries claim it is. The warrantee is the person who has a warrantied product.

The warranty itself is the guarantee that whoever you got the item from will fix it or that it is in ✗✗ condition.
