My Take

Ione is using third person point-of-view from Blaspheme’s perspective.

I don’t see why Ione didn’t slip this into Revenant. NOTE: Ione says that she and her editor felt it needed to be on its own. It’s only a few paragraphs and does carry some happy news.

Nor can the brothers wait to hear whose “swimmer was the fastest”. There’s money ridin’ on it!

The Story

Idess is delivering their child, a cause for celebration by the whole family.

The Characters

Lore is the sterile father and Eidolon’s brother. Idess is Lore’s mate having the baby. Wraith is the vampire brother while Shade is another brother.

Dr. Gemella Morgan is delivering the baby. Dr. Blaspheme is assisting. Revenant‘s hanging in the waiting room. In his Grinch boxers.

The Four Horsemen and their mates along with their father, Reaver, show up.

A dermoire is a paternal history through the ages.

The Title is . . .

. . . generic: “Revenant’s Epilogue”, which is the true end to Revenant.
