Two short stories in Leigh’s Bound Hearts erotica series.

Series:

“Embraced” (Bound Hearts, 6)
“Shameless” (Bound Hearts, 7)

The Stories

Embraced” is the story of Sax Brogan and Marey Dumont, his attraction to her, as well as his need to accept her restrictions. But it’s all over now. Her ex’s actions as well as Marey’s have made it plain what she truly wants, and Sax won’t allow it to stand in his way.

I do love this series with its alpha males who only want to protect their women and love them into utter paradise. Sure, the scenarios are unlikely and, per usual, the wealth in these makes their action so easy to accomplish and out of our own realm of experience, but when it comes down to it, it’s all about fear and hope, love and caring.

Shameless” is Ian and Courtney’s story. And it’s damned funny with Ian’s stubborn adherence to a sense of honor toward his friend and Courtney’s father, Dane. Put Ian’s honor up against Courtney’s own stubbornness, and you just know Ian hasn’t a chance. It’s almost funnier because Courtney’s parents enjoy a threesome-relationship, and now Dad is upset that his daughter wants the same thing. Hmmm, hypocrisy much? Then there are Ian’s friends, all helping to plot his downfall, LOL.

We learn about the Club and its founding. We also learn some background history on Dane and Marguerita’s rough early years.

I’d like to say it’s a lesson for men in never opposing your woman, but Sax puts the lie to that one, LOL!

The Cover and Title

I can’t help it, when I look at this cover I think the guy whose face we’re looking at in this close-up is a cop. It’s the sunglasses. And it takes awhile before I notice the tarty looking woman reflected in his glasses.

The title is a convenient combination of the two short stories and perfectly sums up their sexual preferences, for they are Shameless Embraces. And why not, they’re consenting adults, and happy.
