My Take
Well, if this story doesn’t make you cheer for the assassin, you are one cold-hearted jerk! Kinda makes you wish she could just head on out and clean house of anyone who takes extreme advantage of weaker people.
Great story and complete with a start, a middle, and an end that introduces you to Gin Blanco’s world.
The Story
It’s revenge for raping a thirteen-year-old girl.
The Characters
Gin Blanco is a part-time cook and waitress at the Pork Pit. By day. By night, she’s the Spider, an assassin. Fletcher Lane is her mentor, her handler, and her Pork Pit boss. And the assassin known as the Tin Man.
Detective Cliff Ingles is too corrupt to live.
Xavier is a giant and one of the bouncers at Northern Aggression, a nightclub of vice owned by Roslyn Phillips.
The Title
The title reflects the “Spider’s Bargain” to clean up a tiny bit of the city. A good deal for the mom and their fellow citizens.
