My Take
This was just beautiful! Montgomery usually gets mentioned with the occasional reference to Sivya, and “A Walk on the Cliffs” gives us such insight into her!
She’s an amazing character…suddenly revealed through Singh’s use of third person protagonist point-of-view from Sivya’s perspective. I must confess I was surprised to find out she was an angel!
It’s so cute how flustered she gets at the mess and her appearance. Then there’s that comment she makes about Montgomery’s lethality. Hmmm, hope we get more short stories on this couple!

The Story
Emboldened by Raphael’s sanction, Montgomery invites Sivya to enjoy the evening air with him.
The Characters
Sivya is Raphael’s 1,000-year-old angelic chef. Mayin is Sivya’s assistant.
Montgomery, the vampire, is Raphael’s butler who ensures the rest of the staff work together as a seamless unit.
The sire is Raphael, an archangel who is one of the Cadre of Ten and rules North America. The Guild Hunter is Elena. Lady Caliane, an Ancient, is Raphael’s mother. Aodhan, a.k.a. Sparkle, is one of Raphael’s Seven.
The Title
The title is the primary objective, “A Walk on the Cliffs”, for Montgomery and Sivya.
