My Take
It’s a quick peek in at the married Molly and Fox as they fly out to New Zealand, all from third person protagonist point-of-view from Molly’s perspective.
There’s nothing much in the way of action — kind of hard to do much in three pages, but Singh really has a way with her short stories. She says so much in such a short time, recapping a nice bit of their past.
It’s the kind of relationship we all dream of. A man who adores his wife and gets her. A woman who loves her husband and gives him room.
Ohhh, I love the tattoo Fox is gonna get!! Does he know his Molly or what, lol!
The Story
A conversation between Molly and Fox, reminiscing, and talking about their immediate future plans with Charlotte and Gabriel while they’re in New Zealand.
The Characters
Molly Webster Fox is now married to Zachary Fox, the lead singer for an award-winning, famous rock ‘n roll band that is based in L.A. A former librarian, she works as an editor/researcher under the name Anne Webster.
Charlotte “Charlie” Baird is Molly’s best friend, living in New Zealand. Gabriel Bishop is Charlie’s billionaire fiancé and former rugby star.
Gabe has three younger brothers: two are professional rugby players and the third could have been.
The Title
The title is “That Lip Ring…” that first caught Miss Molly’s eye.
